Strategic Partnership and Productive Cooperation Between Everest View and Tanta Club to Support Egyptian Sports

Everest View for Real Estate Development, headed by Engineer Mohamed Samir El-Shennawy, has signed a strategic cooperation and sponsorship agreement with Tanta Sporting Club, chaired by Dr. Fayez Oreibi, with Vice Chairman Mr. Mohamed Abou Freikha and Club General Manager Major General Mohamed Abou-Taleb. This step reflects a strong alignment of visions between a national real estate development company and a historic Egyptian sports club with a legacy spanning nearly a hundred years.

This cooperation protocol embodies Everest View’s commitment to supporting Egyptian sports, sports sponsorship, and community development, while reinforcing the role of the private sector in serving society. It is based on the belief that human capital investment is the foundation of sustainable growth, and that youth development through sports is a direct path to nation-building.

Engineer Mohamed Samir El-Shennawy emphasized that this partnership is driven by a comprehensive vision that views sports development not merely as competition or results, but as a powerful tool for talent discovery, youth empowerment, and social awareness, contributing to balanced personal development. This approach aligns with the Egyptian state’s strategy to expand sports participation, promote healthy lifestyles, and build a productive and resilient society.

Under the leadership of Dr. Fayez Oreibi, and with the support of Vice Chairman Mohamed Abou Freikha and Major General Mohamed Abou-Taleb, Tanta Sporting Club is currently undergoing a phase of institutional development, organizational restructuring, and sports infrastructure enhancement, capitalizing on its rich history and established position within Egyptian sports heritage.

Tanta Club is one of Egypt’s oldest sports clubs, approaching its centennial anniversary, and was founded during the same era as major institutions such as Al Ahly and Zamalek. Over decades, it has played a vital role in athlete development, sports talent incubation, and the advancement of Egyptian sports culture.

This partnership serves as a model of public-private collaboration, where corporate sports sponsorship extends beyond financial support to include a shared belief in the social impact of sports as a form of soft power, promoting discipline, teamwork, national belonging, and preparing future generations to face economic and social challenges.

The agreement reaffirms that Everest View for Real Estate Development considers sports investment a core component of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) and a key driver of sustainable development, at a time when strategic partnerships between business and sports institutions have become a national priority.

Everest View has recently achieved significant business growth and project success, positioning itself among the leading real estate developers in Egypt, with a strong focus on West Cairo real estate development.

The company is chaired by businessman and National Front Party member Engineer Mohamed Samir El-Shennawy, with Engineer Ahmed Samir El-Shennawy serving as Vice Chairman of the Board.
