The 10th edition of the international exhibition and conference for refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, insulation, and energy—HVAC-R EGYPT EXPO – ASHRAE CAIRO—will kick off from May 4 to 6 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry.
The exhibition is considered one of the largest and most prominent specialized events in the fields of refrigeration, air conditioning, thermal insulation, ventilation, and energy systems in Egypt and the Middle East. It serves as a key platform bringing together major local and international companies to showcase the latest technologies and innovative solutions in this vital sector.
Mahdi Mohamed, General Manager of Cairo Expo, the event organizer, stated that the 10th edition comes at a time of rapid growth in the HVAC and energy sectors, noting that the exhibition represents a strategic platform to support local industry and enhance export opportunities to international markets.
He added that the event aims to attract international delegations and buyers from various countries, contributing to opening new avenues for trade cooperation and enabling direct export deals between Egyptian and foreign companies.
The exhibition will witness wide participation from consultants, major contracting companies, engineers, technicians, and industry specialists, alongside a series of specialized scientific seminars discussing the latest industry developments, under the supervision of ASHRAE Cairo Chapter.
More than 350 leading companies in the sector are participating, making the exhibition a key barometer for the HVAC market in Egypt. National pavilions from over 25 countries will also take part, including China, Turkey, Canada, Spain, Germany, Italy, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, and Algeria.
The previous edition attracted nearly 20,000 specialized visitors from Egypt, Arab, African, and international markets over three days, reflecting the exhibition’s importance as a leading regional platform.
The event will showcase the latest industry solutions, including central air conditioning systems, ventilation systems, industrial cooling solutions, thermal and acoustic insulation, firefighting systems, smart control systems, spare parts, and energy solutions. In addition, free workshops will be held under the theme “Latest Energy-Efficient Innovations in HVAC Systems,” along with a scientific conference featuring more than 50 local and international speakers.
