Dama Developments Signs Strategic Partnerships to Implement and Operate Its “Rawasin” Project in New Sohag

Cooperation agreements signed with WE, Accord, Middle East, Tecno House, Kayan, MA Partners, and Salah Dengal to implement, manage, and operate the project

In a move reflecting its commitment to accelerating the execution of its projects in line with the highest standards of quality and efficiency, Dama Developments announced the signing of a series of strategic partnerships with several specialized companies to support the implementation and operation of its “Rawasin” project in New Sohag City. The agreements mark the beginning of a new phase in the project’s development and reinforce the company’s ambition to deliver an integrated urban community in Upper Egypt.

The partnerships were signed during an event organized by the company, attended by representatives of several companies operating in telecommunications and digital infrastructure, engineering consultancy, commercial facilities management and operation, and finishing works. The move is part of Dama’s strategy to collaborate with specialized partners possessing the expertise required to efficiently deliver the project’s various components.

The partnerships include WE Telecommunications as the project’s telecommunications and digital infrastructure services partner; Accord for commercial facilities management and operation; Middle East Engineering Consultancy as the project’s general consultant; and Kayan, Tecno House, and MA Partners, alongside Salah Dengal Company, for finishing works.

Eng. Taher Abu Raqam, Chairman of Dama Developments, said the partnerships aim to ensure the integration of roles among all parties involved in the project, contributing to greater execution efficiency and coordination between engineering works, finishing activities, and digital infrastructure. They will also establish professional foundations for managing and operating the project’s various components, ensuring a comprehensive experience for customers and investors.

He added that the selection of participating companies reflects Dama Developments’ commitment to working with specialized entities in their respective fields, supporting its vision of transforming plans and designs into tangible reality. “Rawasin” – An Integrated Urban Development in New Sohag

“Rawasin” is located in the southern expansion zone of New Sohag City, covering a total area of 7.5 feddans. The project aims to introduce a model of integrated urban communities combining residential units, services, commercial activities, and investment opportunities in a strategic location within the city.

The development includes a residential area, in addition to “Rawasin Mall,” which features commercial, medical, and entertainment units, based on a master plan designed to provide an integrated environment for visitors and investors.

The mall consists of a basement and three floors, with a total commercial area of approximately 6,280 square meters, supporting a diverse range of activities and services within the project.

The development also includes a social and recreational clubhouse and a mosque, further enhancing the integration of its components and catering to a wide range of residents’ and visitors’ needs. It also offers investment opportunities across commercial and service activities.

The project adopts environmentally friendly sustainable development standards, utilizing natural building materials and solutions designed to reduce energy consumption. It also draws inspiration from the cultural, social, and environmental characteristics of Arab communities.
